Counselling & CBT Therapy Kirkintilloch

In counselling Kirkintilloch we work together. You bring your experiences, your emotions, your questions. I bring psychological understanding, tools, and a safe space to explore them.

Your First Counselling Session Kirkintilloch

Coming to counselling doesn’t mean you are “sick.” It means you are willing to explore your experiences to help understand yourself more deeply, and reach a more peaceful place within yourself.

Whilst I am sitting in the therapist’s chair, this does not mean I hold authority over your life or that I am more capable of living it.

My role is not to advise or tell you what to do. Instead, the work often looks like this:

  • Noticing patterns you may not have seen before
  • Understanding emotions that feel confusing
  • Exploring what works for you and what doesn’t
  • Slowly moving toward goals that feel meaningful to you

Counselling is less about fixing a person and more about discovering new ways of understanding yourself and your life.

Sessions & Fees

I offer online sessions for adults 18+ across Scotland and the wider UK. Sessions provide a confidential space to reflect on thoughts, emotions and life experiences at a steady and manageable pace.

Counselling is often offered on a weekly basis, as regular sessions can help create continuity and depth in the work. However, the frequency of sessions is something we can discuss together and adjust depending on your needs, availability and circumstances.

Online Counselling

Online sessions take place using a secure video platform. To support the work, you will need:

  • a stable internet connection
  • a private space where you can speak openly
  • headphones (optional)

Many people find online sessions flexible and accessible while still allowing meaningful therapeutic work.

Fees

  • £60 - 50-minute online session
  • £80 - 50-minute Couples session

Payment is required prior to each session. Further details around payment and cancellations are discussed during the initial consultation.
